I have not updated in forever.
The only reason I am now is because I am trying to sell stuff on ebay and it is saying my password is wrong. I hate ebay. It is the stupidest thing ever. Even stupider than amazon which keeps sending me emails from people claiming they are wanting to buy my things and have me ship them to africa then sending me fake payment emails.

I had my interview last night, I guess it went alright. Well enough, eh?
I emailed my old internship supervisor because the lady interviewing me mentioned she'd talked to him. And he emailed me back and told me that it was down to me and one other person?
California is far away. But it doesnt snow there! and after last night I'm perfectly comfortable with moving somewhere where it doesnt snow!
Then this morning I got an alert from federalgovernmentjobs.us about an intern opening in BURLINGTON. Yes, so obviously I applied immediately. I'd obviously rather have the one in Burlington, since that's where I interned and I wouldn't have to face a trans-continental move just to work.

it's 7:12 am and I'm at work.
all 3 of my digital timepieces (desk phone, pager, computer) say different times. (phone = 7:12, computer = 7:13, pager = 7:14) I am tired as fuck. I kept imagining the billows of steam coming out of the sewer grates on the way to work were swirling into the road when in reality they were just going up straight.
So I've been coming in early this week for no reason whatsoever. I think they put us all back on shift work to separate ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) ohmygod_and and I. But the joke's on them, cause I haven't done any work all week.
Also I haven't had internet in 2 weeks and I'm starting to go a little crazy.

Oh yes, that's right, get a new job that pays $15k more a year + benefits. Seems quite logical since I have no future at this place and I'm treated like an indentured servant.
ugh, if only I could stay home all day and watch reruns of scrubs and good eats... or at least not sit behind a desk all day and gain ~40 lbs in 2 months, wasting 6 months of hard work drinking all night and being hung over and depressed all day til I drank again. I call that the miracle diet.
work would be more bearable if I did not have to drive 45 minutes there and back. and if I worked in a closet where i wouldn't have to listen to meaningless drivel about other people's children and love lives. if there's anything I hate, it's children, and close second is love. although sometimes they switch places... but in general, that's the order of operations.

i hate work a lot right now. but at least I have a job. but frankly I don't give a damn about pan charges and dissolution profiles. I just want to go home and NOT work.

HOLY SHIT.
I got a great parking spot today too, since no one wants to come to work as it's the day before thanksgiving.
This year I'm giving thanks for my 4Runner. I don't care that it's older than most of my siblings. it runs well, and now that I have my little fuel bracket issue fixed I get nearly 20 mpg instead of 12 -14.

I can't imagine why they haven't blocked the LJ site at work yet?? I mean come on now, I know of at least 3 people who frequent it, yet they block sites like UrbanDictionary.com and About.com? STUPID.
Also stupid: Coming to work at 6 am on a Sunday? What if I wanted to go to church? or Shul? I can't because "real" people already have Sundays off and therefore I can't. I have to sit at my desk and eat blueberry muffins all morning. ugh, h8 work.
ALSO: I'm glad we no longer get to go out and have nice lunches to celebrate people's work anniversaries. Instead we get to go eat pizza in the cafeteria. hoo-dee-fucking hoo. Not that this particular person should GET a nice lunch, or any lunch at all, but that is another issue..

ugh, well the month from hell at work is drawing to a close and I am thankful. I'm thankful that I won't have to spend every moment of my life in PC10 and I am thankful that I got an insight into what assholes people I work with are. For SERIOUS! I mean come on now, who disrespects and takes advantage of a man in his late 60's who everyone else looks up to as a grandfather figure? And UGH! Who goes off on innocent people then sends a department-wide email trying to make themselves seem like a victim? OH! People in my department. Tech Services Prem Support. Cost center number ####### (probably shouldn't write that there, something about classified information and PIP or something).
but then again I've learned that some people who caused me much disdain really aren't so bad after all (even if other people don't feel the same way)
I've started working out again. Pretty decent gym, but it's lacking a punching bag. I was going to buy one back in the day when I was at the apartment.
